There comes a point every December when somebody says it:
“We really need to organise the Christmas party.”
Then comes the group chat. The date suggestions. The people who can do Friday but not that Friday. The question of where to eat, where to go afterwards and how you find somewhere that can actually take everyone.
Which is exactly why a Christmas Party Night can be such a good idea.
At The Clarendon, you choose the date, get your group together and the rest of the evening is already mapped out. Drinks, dinner, wine and dancing all happen in one place, so nobody is trying to move 20 people across London halfway through the night.
And once everyone is there, you can concentrate on the part Christmas parties are actually supposed to be about: switching off, catching up and having a proper night together.
Three Fridays. One Less Thing to Organise.
Our Christmas Party Nights take place on Friday 4th, 11th and 18th December.
For £60 per person, the evening includes a three-course seasonal dinner, a bottle of Saint Laurand wine between four guests and a disco afterwards.
For office teams, it’s the end-of-year night out where nobody needs to think about deadlines for a few hours.
For groups of friends, it’s a date actually in the diary rather than another “we must do something before Christmas” conversation.
And for families, it’s a chance to get everyone around the same table without somebody spending the day shopping, cooking and clearing up afterwards.
Start With a Drink. See Where the Night Goes.
The Chart Bar opens from 6pm, giving everyone time to arrive, grab a drink and catch up before dinner.
Then it’s through to the festively decorated Meridian Restaurant for a three course seasonal dinner and wine around the table.
This is usually the point in the evening when people properly settle in. Work gets forgotten. Phones stay in pockets a little longer. Someone tells a story they probably shouldn’t. And the table gets louder as dinner goes on.
Afterwards, the night moves into the Westcombe Park Suite for the disco.
The music runs until midnight and the bars stay open until 1am, so there’s no need to call it a night just as everyone is getting into it.
If You Drew the Short Straw and Have to Organise It…
We can make that part easier too.
If you’re arranging the office Christmas party, you can pre-order Prosecco for arrival, add extra wine for the table or arrange drink tokens for guests to use during the evening.
It means fewer questions to answer on the night, fewer people asking what the plan is next and fewer things for you to keep track of.
For larger teams who want the celebration to themselves, private hire Party Nights are also available. Call 020 8318 4321 and we can talk you through the options.
And Nobody Has to Volunteer to Be the Driver
There is one downside to a good Christmas party: eventually, somebody has to start thinking about getting home.
Unless you’re staying upstairs.
Guests attending our festive meals and events can book rooms at a special discounted rate, so instead of checking train times or trying to find a taxi at the end of the night, you can simply head to your room.
Then there’s breakfast the next morning before you head home – which is a considerably nicer way to finish the Christmas party than standing on a platform at midnight.
So, Who Are You Bringing?
The Christmas party doesn’t need to be complicated.
You need the people you want to celebrate with, a Friday everyone can agree on and somewhere that has already thought about the rest.
Our Christmas Party Nights take place on 4th, 11th and 18th December, with seating times between 7pm and 8pm.
Dinner is sorted. The wine is on the table. The dance floor is waiting. And Blackheath is the perfect setting.
Now you just need to get the group chat to agree on a date.
Book online, call 020 8318 4321 or email [email protected] to reserve your places.
