On Saturday 26th December, join us at The Clarendon in Blackheath for our annual Boxing Day Carvery in the Meridian Restaurant, with three courses and our pianist playing in the background throughout lunch.
Leave the cooking and clearing up to us, settle in around the table and enjoy an afternoon that still feels festive, at a gentler pace.
Drinks Before Lunch and Live Piano Music
The hotel bar will be open before lunch, so you can arrive a little earlier and meet for a drink before heading through to the Meridian Restaurant.
Once lunch is underway, our pianist will be playing festive favourites in the background. The live music brings a relaxed festive atmosphere to the restaurant while still leaving plenty of room for conversation around the table.
What’s on the Boxing Day Carvery Menu?
The Boxing Day menu is at the heart of the afternoon, with a choice of roast beef, lamb, turkey or pork, served with all the comforting sides you’d hope for on Boxing Day.
Think Yorkshire puddings, crisp roast potatoes, honeyed parsnips, cauliflower cheese and plenty of gravy alongside your choice of roast. There are fish and vegetarian options too, so everyone around the table can find something to enjoy.
For dessert, choose from warm apple tarte tatin, chocolate truffle torte or traditional Christmas pudding to finish the meal on something sweet.
