The wide open space of the Heath just outside our front door is perfect for your four legged friends, and The Clarendon dog friendly hotel is very happy to welcome your fur baby when you come to stay with us for your hotel breaks with dogs.
Open to dogs all year round there are over 200 acres of heathland to explore on Blackheath, and beyond that, beautiful Royal Greenwich Park – and Blackheath Village is also home to many dog friendly businesses, perfect for pet friendly holidays!
The Clarendon is the only dog friendly starred hotel in Blackheath, and as you’d expect, we do have a few rules! We allow a maximum of two dogs per room, and can also accommodate well behaved cats. We charge £7.50 per dog per night, and if you can give us prior notice by booking direct with the hotel that helps us get ready for your visit.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead in all our public areas, with the exception of the restaurant and Goffers. Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture in our dog friendly accommodation, including the beds, and only allowed in certain rooms – so do check with reception if you are unsure. If your dog is naughty and causes any damage you will be liable, and if they are noisy we will ask you to deal with that. We do reserve the right to ask any rule breakers to be removed from the hotel at any time.
