Shopping & Dining
The Village is great for shopping – with an eclectic mix of boutique and independent shops there’s plenty to browse and while away the afternoon.
And when you’re feeling a little parched from all that hard work we have everything from cocktail bars to traditional pubs and even a microbrewery to help quench your thirst.
Blackheath offers a vibrant and diverse restaurant scene that reflects its village-like charm and cosmopolitan tastes. You’ll find classic British dining at places like The Ivy Cafe Blackheath with its stylish all-day menu and relaxed atmosphere, or The Blackheath House for contemporary British fare. International options abound too, from Argentinian grills at Buenos Aires Cafe to Middle-Eastern-influenced vegetarian dishes at Buddha Taste – Blackheath and authentic Indian and Nepalese flavours at PANAS By Sujan Katuwal MBE and Everest Inn and you can also find artisan bakeries and cafés nestling between the shops, such as Gail’s, who bake fresh bread every single day, baking traditional sourdough from their decades-old starter. There are also casual favourites like Côte Blackheath for French brasserie classics, Zerodegrees Microbrewery Restaurant – Blackheath with pizza and local brews, and smaller gems such as Arts Kitchen Blackheath, making Blackheath a delightful destination for food lovers.
There’s plenty to choose from, the only question is ‘how long can you stay?’.
