Dogs welcome

Our hotel is situated in front of Blackheath Common which is over 200 acres of fun loving grass, beyond the common is Royal Greenwich Park, which is another wonderful dog walking place, steep in lots of history and views of London.
While we accept and welcome well behaved dogs and their responsible owners, we do have a few rules.

£7.50 per dog, per night. Bookings must be made direct with the hotel.

A few Rules

  • The Clarendon Hotel is perfect for dogs but we do ask that they are kept on a lead at all times in the public areas.
  • Dogs are welcome on the Heath at any time of the year. Any fouling on the Heath should be cleared and disposed of in the bins located around the Heath.
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome in the gardens, as long as no event is taking place, the Lounge, the Chart Bar, and at hotel reception. They are not permitted in the Restaurant or Goffers Lounge.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the furniture, including beds.
  • Dogs are only allowed in specific rooms – please check with reception if you are unsure.
  • Owners are liable for any cleaning or damage charges caused by their dog.
  • Any complaints that arise as a result of noisy dogs must be dealt with by the owner.
  • We reserve the right to ask any dog to be removed from the hotel at any time.
  • We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per room

  • The hotel does not provide dog food
  • Prior noticed is preferred
  • The hotel can accept well behaved cats upon request.
