Front of House Receptionist
The role involves the working from the main reception desk while on shift which includes checking in the guests and being there on departure to ensure they had the best stay. You will be involved in daily tasks to ensure the hotel runs smoothly and all guests receive excellent the service.

Candidates must have good inter personal skills and be very customer focused. Candidates must have high communication skills and be confident in dealing with customers. An ideal candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about work and use their positive energy to engage others. Must be reliable and must be determined and willing to always put in 100%.
Shift work – 5 days per week. (7-3pm & 3-11pm) – the hotel uses Opera PMS

Sales & Reservations Agent 27 hours per week
The Clarendon Hotel, Blackheath Village is looking for a Sales & Reservations agent.
We are a 178 bedroom hotel with full conference and banqueting facilities.
Days of work
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 1-5pm Thursday & Friday 9-5pm
The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for hotel bedroom reservations, but will also play a part in assisting the hotels’ Sales Manager with sales projects.
Ideally we are seeking someone who has experience with hotel reservations, and would also enjoy and continue social media projects.
If you can work on your own initiative, be aware of new sales and marketing opportunities and are someone who enjoys meeting and talking to people then we would like to see your details. The hotel uses reservation system ‘Opera PMS’
This is a very exciting role with lots of potential.
Knowledge of European languages (would be an advantage but not necessary)

– Previous experience in a customer-focused industry (hotel preferably)
– Positive attitude and good communication skills
– Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
– Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
– Competent level of IT proficiency

General Duties:
– Receive, process and confirm room reservations.
– Quote appropriate rates to obtain optimum rates and occupancy.
– Generate guest correspondence relevant to their reservations.
– GDS & OTA reservations.
– Assist guests with making reservations over the phone
– Ensure that all correspondence for reservations are filed in date
– Check all “No Show” reservations, follow up with bookers and charges accordingly.
– Ensure a competitor occupancy analysis.
– Make sure the monthly budget is achieved.
